It is a well known fact that comedian Vivek has the habit of propagating ex-President Dr. Abdul Kalam’s thoughts through his films. He used to propagate them in sugar coated messages. Once, he has even announced in front of the press persons that he would continue to do so, as he is committed to the preaching of ex-President.

Dr. Abdul Kalam, knowing the comedians noble intentions, appears to have a ‘soft corner’ for the ace comedian in his heart. Kalam, who is serving as a resident professor in a prominent University in Chennai, is called on quite often by Vivek. At their recent meeting, Kalam reportedly presented Vivek with a copy of his latest book ‘Pookkalae Malarungal’.

Vivek was only too happy to receive the gift from Kalam. The book reportedly deals with ways and means to improve and sustain one’s self-confidence at all times and at all places. Vivek is said to have taken upon himself the job of publicizing the ‘merits’ of the book and urging others to buy a copy for it.
