Jackie Chan is Flying Down to Chennai to release the music of Dashaavtaram.
The audio CD of the film Dasaavathaaram is to be released by World Super Star Jackie Chan in Chennai on the 25th of April.
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will be the guest of honor.
Jackie Chan will be staying at a five-star hotel in Adyar.
Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Vijay, Hemamalini, Mallika Sherawat, Asin will be among the celebrities participating in the function.
Producer Oscar Ravinchandran and his brother met Jackie Chan in Hong Kong in February and invited him to Chennai for the audio release. They also showed him the film's clippings. The function had to be postponed twice to facilitate Chan's participation.
Ravi said, "About a 100 selected guests were invited for the party. Jackie officially announced on the occasion that it was his immense pleasure to attend the function being hosted by me in India. The function is to take place in the second week of March at Nehru Stadium and Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Telugu film star Chiranjeevi have already given their consent to attend the same."
He added, "The other south Indian stars including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Upendra and Nagarjuna among others will be approached once the date is finalised."
Answering a question about Superstar Rajini's participation in this mega event, Ravi smiles and we will invite him also.
